Music not playing

Please help me with music not playing.
I have an m4a music file and created an actor on my home screen with the 'play music' attribute and selected my track. But when I preview my game there is no music on my home screen? All of the sounds on my buttons are working but no matter what I do I can't seem to get music to play. My audio is m4a. 128kbps / 22k Hz / mono and 40 seconds long
I have set tried creating and setting a music interger attribute to 1 and using rules if interger attribute music = 1. play music.
But nothing will work.
Thanks in advance

Hi @Kyukon
My guess is - but only a guess - that your m4a music file is 22kHz when it should be 44.1kHz...
I wonder, did you create your mp4 file outside of GSC in an audio editor or similar? If you've access to a standard aiff or wav file of the track, then just drag that into GSC and when you select Music it'll put it into the correct format (mp4) for you at the standard sampling rate. Fingers crossed that helps...

I tried 22kHz and 44.1kHz, still nothing. I also dragged and dropped the wav file into the audio section of GS but got an error message saying unsupported file type. if i drop it anywhere else in GS nothing happens.
I have been using this site to convert my files to m4a. http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-m4a
Maybe it is unreliable?
I am also using GS for Windows, would this be the cause of any problems? Thanks
I tried converting on a different website ( http://www.convertfiles.com/ )
and I got the music to work in my game now.
Thank you
I was resolved this proplem by converted music file to type *.ogg, and in GS, i used command: play sound --> select music type *.ogg and played.
