the lack of multiplayer, bluetooth connectivity, wifi local play, etc etc really sucks!
i dont have a problem creatin an Ai for the oppontents but im sure ppl would like to fight their friends online and stuff. unless i use another engine (oh no he didnt)

what you guys think? do you cafre for fighting friends other humans online? or is cpu opponents fine?

Why don't you code the game with bots if you can as you say you don't have a problem creating the AI for the opponent? A lot of games like street fighter were player vs cpu and online gameplay was non existent at the time and the games were big hits. I myself would play against a cpu all day if the AI was good. Then IF game salad gets online and multiplayer all you need to do is make a few mods and you're done.

That's the thing. Back in the day, online wasn't a standard like today. Frieda would always fight each other tho. Except maybe sf 1. Which sucks. And ryu was a soulless ginger.

But I see ur point. I want to create a mk/sf/killer instinct hybrid

id just start making it. due to the number of animations required it would likely take a very long time to develop. by the time you're done theres a chance a multiplayer feature could have already been implemented. personally i dont care about online features for fighting games. i find it more interesting to vs. people/friends that are actually next to you

    thanks xforce

thats my issue, GS doesnt support multiplayer yet.

as far as animation goes, i can find a way if making this process easier....

i REALLY dont wanna use another engine, simply because GS ROCKS with its ease of use.
