GS Viewer - iPad : no sound after unlock

testing my game with gs viewer on iPad. It plays fine. I put the iPad down for a few moments and the screen goes black as is normal for the iPad. I tap the screen to wake it up. I slide to unlock the iPad. GS Viewer with my game reappears on the screen where I left it. The game continues where I left off, but now there is no sound. There is music, but no sound effects. If I restart GS Viewer, I start the game over again, I get sound back. But I'm wondering. The sound drops out after unlock. Is this normal or do I have a bug? And if it is a bug, how do I fix it?
