gamesalad viewer working on ios simulator but not iphone?

Hi,
Am having trouble getting the game salad viewer working on my iPhone. I've followed the tshirtbooth youtube tutorial and can get it to work properly on the iOS simulator, but when it comes to getting it to work on my iPhone I'm stuck on "GameSalad Creator Not Found" with a notification saying the creator not found on the network (both my laptop and iPhone are on the same WiFi network).
Help?
