iAds not displaying once app is in store

When testing our app with an ad hoc build, the iAd banner displayed with the text "This is where an ad would show".

Fast forward to a few days later, our app is accepted by Apple and published to the store, and when testing no ads are displayed. iTunes Connect isn't showing any information for requests either. Is this just a network error? Or is something else wrong?

    How long has the app been out? It does take a while for the iAds to show up.
    You should also go into the iAds section in iTunes Connect and look for your app. See if it says "Live ads".

    Do you have the iAd network image/tab displayed underneath "Manage your Applications"? If not, you have not activated iAds properly i iTunes Connect.

    We got a message from Apple saying our app was approved for ads, and in iTunes Connect it says the Ad Status is Live Ads. The game was just made available today, could that be the problem?

    Did you Enable iAd Network Settings in iTunes Connect?

    @BobD
    I go to iTunes connect, click the app, and click iAd Network settings. The top banner says Enabled. Is this what you meant?

    I'm starting to think the problem is I forgot to check that we're using iAds when publishing through GameSalad. With their dashboard changes, its not letting me update my apps though.

    That might be the problem, or your account simply does not support iAds. For instance, I live in Norway, but I'm using an american App Store account. I can see my games iAds, but users with norwegian accounts won't be able to, because they don't support it.

    I live the US with a US account, testing it with a US account. From what people have said and what I have read I think i have solved my problem.

    Just one final question: When the app goes live in the store, provided everything is set up correctly, is there any reason an iAd won't display? As in it just takes some time after it goes live before they start showing up
