How to delete an actor?

I know you can totally delete all of the same actor, but I cant find out how to just delete one of that actor... I had been just dragging them off the screen because I thought I heard that deleted them, but it just makes it so you can't see them... Sorry I know this is a stupid question, but I can't figure it out :/ thanks in advance!

    Select the actor in the scene view and press the delete key.

    wow I feel so stupid I didn't know that thank you very much, I only learned that when I went to go port my game to the iPad, sheeesh!

    Yea now when the resolution got bigger I run into all other kinds of problems because things i "deleted" (just moved off the screen) I'm running into haha bad mistake, won't do that again
