I gave your project a try, and it's great! I couldn't figure out how to get the steering update feeding back into the car's updated facing direction, etc. Cool! Thanks so much for that!
I didn't know you could use game.Time and whatnot. Lots to learn there, I'll have to poke around more. Thanks a million!
Very nice! Would be nice to switch between this kind of grippy style physics on asphalt and slippery style physics on off-road patches... Any ideas how you would make the rear end of the car fishtail a little bit if you drive on snow or dirt?
Obviously, you could have an attribute "Offroad" that is 0 or 1, and switch between two totally different driving models (mine for offroad and DenimShark's for asphalt).
But considering how eloquent DenimShark's rules are for his driving model, perhaps just a few changes in some of the expressions could yield a neat switch between onroad and offroad behaviours?
Thanks! @Hymloe for the video, and @DenimShark for the template. I've really been struggling with this. Actually the outcome has been released to the App Store lately. If you want to check it out: >-
Unfortunately, i haven't uploaded a video yet, so you have to stick to the screenshots. About that, do you guys know a good way to make awesome (professional like) app promoting videos? If yes, i'd really like to know!

But I don't know if it's possible within the limitations of Game Salad's feature set, so I think I'll just stick with offroad styled environments.
Just alter the car actor's custom accelerate and max speed attributes that I've created.
