I want to transfer a scene from one project to another without having to reconstruct it. Id also like to do it for free:( I should have to buy extra software. I have both Pc and mac, so anything is possible
@skippertech ... been around the forums for a few years and pretty sure everyone uses the DBA tools for things like this as nothing else exists that we know of. It is more complicated than it seems as each attribute, actor etc is given identifying numbers by GS and just sticking two scenes into one would likely screw up all those numbers as some may be the same. If you are going to be making games with GS for a while then the $$'s will be well spent ....
The one they're talking about above is probably project merger. To transfer the one scene, I guess you would do a Save As on your project to make a one scene project, and then run project merger and check the Scenes function. So it would serve to just move that scene.
@skippertech .... wayneh001 is from DeepBlueApps who make the tools everyone is talking about. Since he offered to help you out I would take him up on it!

even before DeepBlueApps offered us the economical Resource Center
I had purchased several of their bundles!
I can code in several languages … but always am curious about how the experts do it!
always asking: is there a faster/better way to do this?
and DBA does really show you how to do so many exciting things!
plus the sound/music files and great animations to download …
@skippertech … there is a lite/free Resource Center with lots of videos/downloads
try some of those out …
Enjoy yourself!
@SkipperTech: Drop us a mail, and we'll try and help you out. Sounds like the GS Project Merger Tool might be the way to go - or even the GS Scene Merger Tool might help.
Cheers
