Device clock Template bug

Hi everyone,
So im using the template that shows how to work with the device time. I currently have it set up to a 5 minute trigger and when you close the app and reopen it displays the time left till the 5 minutes is up. However only the first time when i close the app and reopen it goes to a random number based on the second i open the app. So instead of me opening the app 1 minute later and it showing 4 minutes left it shows something different. However everytime after that I reopen and close the app it shows the correct time from when it was closed and then open. Just the first time its messed up. Anyone know the issue with this. It seems like a bug.
