Make sure you have downloaded the prov file from your dev account. Drop the file in your MobileDevice in your folder (user/library/mobiledevice). Sometimes you can doubleclick to install but I like to maually drag to the folder to install it. Restart GS etc. Even check that the prvo file is recognised by xCode - open xCode and check through the organiser that the prov files are there and active (no alert signs present). If you see the prov file in the list as OK then you should see it when you get to choose it from GS publish window. Make sure also you developer certificates and keys in your keychain are installed and current. If you have added a new prov file you will have to download these again and install them in keychain otherwise they will not be seen by xCode or GS.

this one .
When I do this gamesalad still cannot find it. Do I have to run it through Xcode?
How do I get it through Xcode? If anyone would help me that would be great.

Double click the provisioning profile in your downloads folder. If this doesn't resolve the issue make sure that your bundle ids match up.
Sometimes you have to refresh in xcode to update profiles. Before they show in xcode.
I usually download profile and double click on it. It asks. "Add to library?" Yes..
