How did you guys do it, because for me, when I go into preview, it only shows half the screen, so when i take a pic with the built in game salad picture taker (thing whatever its called) it only displays half the screen, so it only gives me half the image therefore my pictures are half the required images resolution, any ideas, suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I think the only solution is to launch the iPad simulator and downsize it and take a screenshot like that, otherwise it will get cut off, which was my issue too having a macbook

The GameSalad preview for my iPad game didn't fit on my monitor. So instead, I took several screenshots and then pasted them back together in Photoshop. It was getting close to 8pm EST, so I only finished one screenshot.

gotcha, I'd do that on mine, but when i'm previewing, i can't move it so the only thing i can take a pic of is the bottom half of the screen:/

Hmmm. Odd. For me it only cropped of 18 pixils. So resize up a tiny bit looks f e.
Maybe it has to do wiu screen size.

yea, something i'd love for GS is to have a fullscreen preview mode which only shows the stats and the screen. nothing else.

You know that you can hit play from the scene window, right? That will let you scroll to the top. The hard part is removing the white line from the camera border.

oh didn't think about that:) what would I use to take the picture then?

I published mine to pc, and then was able to get full size screenshots. Wasn't preferred, but worked pretty well.

k thanks how do you do print screen on a mac (or the equivalent)

Edit: I don't know why I asked that google teaches all haha....

apparantly for anybody who wants to know you press

command shift 3 and hold them all down and let them up at the same time:)

command + shift + 3 will just put a jpeg on your desktop

there a re a few ways but that is the quickest

This is how I do it. Command+shift+4, then press space. It brings up a cam icon. Then click the window and it puts that window screenshot on the desktop :)
P.S- I did this with a mac build of my game and it was automatically in the correct res for submission.

@crazybreadman wow damn it I wish I would've done that I just print screened the two images wiped all the crap around them, combined them and changed the res, removed the camera lines ahhh, wish i would've seen this......

    thats a pretty handy tip
