The best way I figured out how to deal with my Promo Codes is in the forum, don't post your promo codes because you will usually find a very few amount of people that will actually leave you a review. But it is better to say "If you would like a promo code and will leave a review, just send us a PM" That way some of the people who just creep the forums wont take the time to create an account and send you a PM.

The bigger sites mostly want money for review or they don't even bother to answer you.
We were trying to get reviews by bigger sites, they didn't even answer and our promo codes were wasted.

Use Promo Dispenser for your promo codes and advertise your codes on other forums and community sites given away on Promo Dispenser.
That is the best way to get reviews by users also on iTunes. I don't say it, because I run the site. It is my experience.
Otherwise use the touch arcade forum to advertise your game. From there you will get some reviews too.
Everything else is pretty much a waste of time.
