3D?

i was just wondering if one day gamesalad would add in 3d support? like a first person view game? or like a 3rd person view game or something like in that type of 3d? i hope gamesalad brings that one day

I hope it also...but I don't think that it is on the roadmap of the team at the moment

3D is not on the GS roadmap;
anyway a game is not great just because it's in 3D!
take example from Angry Birds or Cut The Rope etc...
and any game in 3D is more complex to make.

Try Unity 3 or 4. That is a program that allows you to make 3D iOS or Android games along with both PC and Mac support. I tryed it once but my mac (macbook 2006-2007) couldnt handle it.

@kfeavel yes, unity is good but I think that the license to publish to iOS cost 400$

Besides 3D also is very difficult learning curve especially in art. Creating a simple animation requires a lot of code.

No, you don't code an animation. You don't have to write a single line of code. Depending on what you're doing and how complex it is, there might be some scripting that could come in handy, but you don't have to type a single digit of code in order to create some kind of animation.

I'm currently learning unity and it's a great program and learning JavaScript is not that hard if you put in the effort.

unity yes i know is good, except it costs alot of money to make the game for ios, and i can also code javascript

+ i like gamesalad, thats why i was wondering if gamesalad would ever go 3d,
also the community here is good
