Getting started with Android - Downloading SDK

Hello everyone. I am trying to get started with android publishing. I have opened Gamesalad CookBook http://cookbook.gamesalad.com/tutorials/4/parts/11 and

At the first time after:

In a terminal window, type and run the following (without quotes): "~/sdk/tools/android update sdk --no-ui"

I got information about loging to some website. I was suposed to to type login and password, so I was unable to get into:

After the update, in the terminal window, type and run (without quotes): "~/sdk/tools/android update adb"

I tried to to everything from the very begining once again but no during Downloading Google Play services, revision 1 I recive error saying: Download finished with wrong size. Expected 347781 bytes, got 978 bytes and I am again unable to get into

Please help me. Case is very urgent for me and my client.
