Launching another iOS app from within yours

Is it possible to launch another iOS app from within yours? I've googled this, and found some references to an external link using a "URL Scheme", but don't really know what that is. We want to be able to start one of our other iOS apps from within a "master" app, sort of like a menu. Can this be done in GameSalad?

This would require both gamesalad support of the application URL schemas and the application you are trying to open would either have to have a publicly available URL Schema (Like twitter and Facebook) or if you made the app, you would have to include that functionality.

This link goes over what you are asking pretty thoroughly. But like @uptimistik said, this cannot currently be done in game salad.
