Can we not make DMGs anymore?

Can we make a simple DMG without a bundle Identifier from the app store? Would that mean that you can't just make a DMG file and give it your friends without uploading it to the mac app store?

    You have to out in some sort of Bundle ID now for all mac apps. Its an Apple thing I believe. If its not for the mac app store you just need to type something in. I think at least. I dont mess much with mac apps I just remember GS reporting something like that.

    Hmm so you cannot make a DRM free DMG anymore? You can do this with Unity.
