Alright, I went through the how-to's and figured out how to move and actor back and forth. But my problem is, when i added gravity to the scene, i used the same number for acceleration up in my actor to keep it from "falling" but even when i set the numbers equal, the actor still drops just a little bit. Also I want it to where another actor can collide with it, without the moving actor moving downward.

I got about 40 hours into a project with gravity and couldn't get everything to work correctly. Took it out and played with accelerate down and it took maybe an hour or 2 to figure out and it's so much easier now. Gravity S*CKS!

How would i stop all the other actors from effecting the actor thats just moving back and forth?

Well, but objects have to collide with it, i just dont want them moving it any when they do. Should i just set its density to reallllly high!?

Setting the density to really high seems to work.

    LOL! Well said!

I've set density MASSIVELY high on my large asteroids but they still move slightly when the smaller ones (much lower density) collide with them... this is a real pain as it can ruin the tight paths that the ship needs to fly through, making it impossible to do. Any thoughts?
