Chess like game

Newbie: Can gamesalad be used to create a game like chess or other strategy based games?

    With writable tables I would suggest yes. Layout would be easy and rules for allowed moves achievable. The check and check mate would be a little trickier but possible in my opinion!

    One more question: Does GS allow for AI or does the chess like have to be for two players?

    Ai would be monster coding! I'd start with two player. If that works then go from there! That said! Please don't attempt this for a first game!
