Almost two months and no word as to when we can submit to Ice Cap Games.
Can anyone gives us an update or ETA as to when this will happen?

This is such a game changer for GameSalad.
I believe it will encourage developers to produce better games within the community.
I'm just stumped as to why we're not getting updates.

Hey guys, thanks for the interest in Ice Cap Games.

We've been working out all the details with our first set of partners and will have more information to share on the submission process in the next couple of weeks.

    Stay tuned!

Thanks Steve. I think there's a lot of members who are holding off submitting to the App Store in hope of getting distribution though Ice Cap.

Particulars like "How big a percentage of total sales does Ice Cap get" is of paramount importance. I know things change but the "next couple of weeks" often turns into the "next couple of months."

If you can give us any information before the official announcement, I'm sure you'd have a grateful community.

    Skippertech,

GameSalad has started a company to publish games. They are called: Ice Cap Games.

Hopefully soon, they will ask us to submit our GameSalad based games.
If they accept it, they will publish and advertise it on the App Store.

It's just like Chillingo, Gameloft, UbiSoft or any other game publisher.

It's big news that was announced about two months ago.
We're just waiting for any word as to when we can submit our game to
possibly be published by this new arm of GameSalad.

Actually, it is a big deal.

Regardless, you need a dev license, but with Ice Cap Games, if your game is chosen to be published you'll have access to help, as well as the new (lua-free) game engine GameSalad is finalizing.

We could assume as a publisher Ice Cap will provide advertising for your game and get the word out far better than we could do on our own given their connections and financing.
