Sound Notes
When converting files to .caf, by using the open source software Max, I noticed that the conversion wasn't successful if the converted file had a Quicktime logo on it.
Positional sound should have an option relative to scene or camera... or maybe even relative to an actor. Positional sound can work if the actor is moving. But if you have something stationary... like a TV... if your actor walks closer or further away from the TV, the sound is the same. (Workaround: I used math to simulate positional sound... but I don't have stereo sound... it only gets louder or quieter.)
I think a stereo slider option would be good addition to GameSalad.
The option to convert an imported file to .m4a or .ogg seems confusing. I don't think the choice should be "Music" or "Sound"... as the real decision seems to be compressed or uncompressed... storage space vs speed. (I usually choose speed, opting to go with .caf instead of .ogg.)
Why is .m4a a choice and not .caf?
What's going to happen when better browser support is enabled? Will my .caf sounds work on those new platforms?
Sometimes, like when the game is dropping in frame rates, the pitch doesn't always go through. This can be funny/embarrassing, as my python roar could become a silly sounding recording of me... or my space gun sounds like me saying "pew." Sometimes the sounds chirp. I'm not so sure it's wise to use pitch. While modifying the pitch in GameSalad may make it easier to make a game, and save space by being able to use one sound for multiple purposes, the quality of the sound effects might suffer. If you're a perfectionist, then you might want to make your sound modifications outside of GameSalad and then import those sound files into GameSalad.

With scrolling games, positional sound isn't very useful. An option to set the center point would make positional sound more useful.
