Latest version of Game Salad and publishing

Hi there.

I've just completed my game in 0.9.92.

I'm ready to publish, and I want to step up to a newer version to get some of the Game Center fixes.

I'm going to try 0.10.0. Has anyone got any major warnings or concerns about it? I could just try 0.9.94 if there's any major problems or annoyances with 0.10.0. (I have them both downloaded).

I know it's the final days for publishing using 0.9.94 or below, now. But I think I still have a day or so, so my options are still open.

Any advice?

Also, is 0.10.0 the very latest version, or was there an additional hot fix released at all?

I've got Lion (10.7.3) and 64 bit.

With regards to the publishing process, presuming I have all the right provisioning profiles, screenshots, game icon, etc, is the process likely to confuse me, or give me errors? Or should it all be pretty self explanatory and smooth?

Maybe I should just try 0.9.94 for now, seeing it'll be a familiar process for me.

And then step up to 0.10.0 to begin my next game.

What would be your take on that? Thanks again.

It's not that different - but it might confuse you at the beginning. I would stay with 0.9.94 for now. Submit, then update. I never update when my game is close to being submitted. You never know how your game is going to react when you update.

Cheers @Braydon_SFX. That makes sense, to be true!

So you would recommend going to 0.9.94 though?

When I trialled it (when it came out), it had a bug (from memory), where the viewer ignored your orientation settings, and let the game rotate in all directions. So I held off.

But for publishing, it seems solid, and no surprises compared to 0.9.92?

Just stay with whatever version your on now. I very rarely update, like I said, when I'm close to finishing.

No, nothing new publishing wise with any version except the latest.

It's just that there are some rather annoying Game Center bugs in 0.9.92. So I think I'll try 0.9.94, so long as no one has scary stories about it. Cheers.
