Level Spawning/ Survival Mode

Hi All!
I have a game I am working on that is similar to the game Doodlejump. Now I am unsure if It is possible to spawn the level, (which is survival, so goes on as long as the user does not die). Or should I create a reallllllly long level (that seems a bit ridiculous to me)..

Or can the level spawn as it goes? but change a bit? example: longer you go the harder it gets

ANY tutorials or links would be great:D

Thanks

Sure - Just change the attribute (X and Y) of the platforms to a random position on the screen after it is out of view.

Doing a really long level wouldn't be such a good idea, especially since just recycling the platforms would be much easier.

You can have set locations recorded in a table if you don't want them to be random.
