Would be cool if you could select individual actors or instances to merge. Otherwise you get duplicates of everything every time 2 people working on the same game merge throughout the dev process.

You can merge individual actors manually but it would just be nicer and less hassle to do it through the GUI of a tool.

Unless this update already includes that?

@HoneyTribeStudios: That sounds like an excellent idea. It's on the 'to do list' now.
You can however at present choose to merge all (or any combinations) of ACTORS, SCENES, ATTRIBUTES and TABLES from the 2nd project file, but it would be great if you could select WHICH actors and scenes etc...

    Cheers

Great! exactly what i needed !
I left a post in your forums about it last week but had no reply .
I was having problem copying a table from project 1 to project 2 , all kind of anomalies happened using the export/import csv , im sure ill find this version useful !
Now i can transport the multi languages tables of the text to my project, and have multi languages support!

    Thanks guys!

    Hey Darren,
Just wanted to give you this feedback on the latest release.
i have 2 projects and i want to copy a table from one project to the other one using the tool cause "import/export csv" causing me problems .
I noticed that if "merge attributes" is not flagged the the table will not be merged even though "merge tables" is flagged.
problem is , if i flag both "merge tables" and "merge attributes" , it duplicates all of the attributes also , but i need the table only .
It will be great if you guys will add merging ONLY table option.

    Cheers.

Used it yesterday merging 8 template projects into 1. Took me less then half an hour. I had images with the same name and found the advanced button field that ads a prefix to the merged images.
This is such an awesome tool!
    You guys rock!

@LudwigHeijden: Thanks for your support, glad the Merger Tool is coming in handy for you :-)

@P-O-M: Just checked this out, and seems you are right - sorry.. I'm in the process of converting the Merger Tool to the PC, so everything's in 'pieces' at the minute. But I'll definitely look to get this fixed for the next release. Thanks again.

    Cheers

With the new engine just around the corner we might hold off with the pc for now.

It's a shame they're so closed off because we would love to work with them but it seems the new engine is under wraps so what can you do.

@cnmeyer1980 we had to put the pc version on the back burner but still plan to release it in the near future.

@Wayneh001 Did you ever get a chance to look into the merge issue and also the selecting which actors, attributes etc you want to merge?

@DimensionScope you need to press the update button so you have the latest version, it will be fine after.

Wayne has started work on the PC merger, this will be a new tool which we will have to charge for but its a must have IMO if you only work on a PC which I'm sure our many customers of the mac version will testify.

Thanks for the support over at DBA.
