multi touch

i have gone through the multi touch tutorials and I'm finding they are not working for the type of game that I'm making... basically i have made an actor that scrolls across the screen (it is the length of the screen) and i also have a fire button... with the actor that scrolls across the screen your fingers are constantly on the screen... while you move the actor left and right... under the actor is a fire button that you press and hold in order to shoot... my problem is when i press that button to shoot it seems as if the touch is lost all my rules are basically the rules that i followed in @tshirtbooth tutorial on the touch offset



any ideas anyone please let me know!

    OKAY so i see its only happening when the self.attribute moveable is checked
