So what do we do now? Developing for the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4

I have a few questions. I realize their may be no definite answers now but we can discuss.
1) Should we design our next game for the iPhone 5 or 4? I understand that Gamesalad is not updated yet for iPhone 5 but when it is, how will a game designed for the iPhone 5 look on an older device like an iPhone 4? Will some of the game be cut off? Or, will the binary have versions for both phones?
2) For how long will Apple accept submissions for older devices? I'm sure there will be a time that Apple will cut off submissions for older devices to encourage people to buy the new screen size. Maybe not for a year? or 2? Maybe sooner than later?
3) Are you going to update your apps for iPhone 5 that are already on the store? Or not worry about it?

1. iPhone4. You are in the hands of GS on this one. When and what they release may mean you can make iPhone5 material but at the moment you have no real option. In fact GS will need to make the next release compatible with iOS6 and SDK 4.5 and this is a big ask - my fear is they will not (hope I am wrong).
2. Yep. Will not be long. I think by the end of the year.
3. Yes. Have no choice really if they will remain in the game...although there is no mad rush as yet.
