Bidding for work? Here is some friendly advice

After recently making two threads (especially this one http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/49060/2d-artist-wantedpaid ) - I decided to make this thread. Why? Because it has become clear that when some freelancers are bidding for work, they simply do not READ what has been asked.

If you are lazy in your original email offering your services, dont expect a response. It's that simple. All this a bit harsh? Sure. Whenever I make a post for a type of freelancer, I put as much detail as I can in that post, with examples of what I am looking for and request any examples on par with what I need.

So, to cut a long story short to all you freelancers - THINK before emailing.

Would it be shameless self-advertisement if I were to state I clearly think it through before placing my bids?
