Working with scrollbars, how do I add new listings on to the bottom of a list?

I need to find out how to create a scrollbar, anybody know any videos? As a side note from that, I also have to add new listings as the user creates them to the bottom of the list that is scrollable. Pretty advanced stuff so if anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful!
