Does your web link remain the same on itunes store after you update app?

I want to link my new game to my old game, but currently I am waiting for an update for the old game to be approved..
Will an update affect the web address or link on the itunes store?

I am guessing no,, but I want to be sure...

No, updates won't affect the links, because the App ID that you use in the link will remain the same.
