It works fine on my iPod, so I want to submit it, I try to submit the game.app you sent and iTunes says "file must be zip or ipa"

I compress the file and try to submit and iTunes says "binary does not contain .app"

This is driving me crazy why is it so difficult???

Help? Please???

I think so, how do I tell?

    Thanks for helping...

You pointed out that you "tested" it on your itouch/iphone, which means you have a "Development" profile, u can't upload an app with that like bladeolsen said, you need to create a distribution profile to distribute the app

    I think I did
I've got both, they are in my keychain

When you publish through GameSalad (the orange arrow) make sure you select the Distribution Profile, NOT the development profile, from the drop-down menu.

How do you get the new certificates into the GS publishing DD Menu?

make sure you downloaded and installed them off of your developer connection
  • IntelligentDesignerIntelligentDesigner Member Posts: 517
    yep did that

now try to publish it again with your distribution profile, and if its still not there, delete your distribution profile off your computer and download it again and if that doesn't work revoke the distribution profile and make another, Hope this helps!

I can't get GS to find the new profiles, it still has the three old ones and does not see the new ones

    What to do?

So you dragged the profile files onto the XCode icon (and/or iTunes...cannot remember if that was the one...think that is for actual app bundles)??
  • IntelligentDesignerIntelligentDesigner Member Posts: 517
    Yes.

    I created a new AppID
I created new certificates and got them into keychain
I created new provisioning profiles and got them into XCode Organizer

Everything according to plan. I GS Published a developer app for my iTouch, dragged it to itunes and synched and no problem it works fine.

I GS published a Distribution app and when I tried to upload the binary, the same problems persist.

This is wacky, and I am really wondering what the bug is?

    Help?

If you did everything right as you said you did, I would recommend you call apple or google search for your problems, I've had three seperate problems with itunes connect stuff, and each time I called apple and they got it handled good luck! :)
