Hey everyone.

So i've bought a new Mac and i'm trying to keep everything clean and organised. (for Gamesalad)

I've set up quite a few files! Since i've got stacks of templates From people like TSB, FryingBacon Studios & DBA.
And since I have the paid version of the DBA resource centre:
I have stacks more! (well worth it btw)

Anyway - So I get sick of seeing the same folder icon everywhere and maybe it effects productivity, maybe it doesn't. But I think it's a good mentality saying "hey my work place looks awesome and I want to do this!"

And although i'm sure some of you know this, I came across a way to change icon images to allow a more professional look for your desktop.

This link will show you how to change icons!
To have a custom icon (by an image of your choice) as the traditional way really just allows you to swap icons, download a program called "image2icon" it's on the app store as well. This allows you to convert images in to icons resulting in changing any icon image on your mac.

It's a nice change I think, custom icons for everything. Even my GS project files.

Hope you're all having a great week!

You could do what I did and hid all desktop icons then make a stacks folder on my pop up taskbar so I can still get to the 1000's of crap on my desktop.

I just had things too messy and poorly organised when I first started with GS and stuff just ended up all over the place by the end of it.

    How I operate now is:
    Folders > Gamesalad:
    Games - Music - SFX - Graphics - Tools - Templates.
Project Name > Project Files - Music - SFX - Graphics.

Basically. Good habit to have I thinks :D

P.S Did someone remove @UtopianGames link I shared? Just asking incase I breached some rule by accident.
