Yes this can be accomplished easily with a pro gamesalad account using the "Open URL" behaviour.

  • One more question in the same "category"

Is it possible to write an email adress and when someone clicks on it the "E-mail" account opens up and you can email from your email on the device?

Hahaha! Hope someone understood that question

Yeah thats possible. Just use the mailto: function in the Open URL behavior. Just remember, this is a pro only feature.

Out of curiosity can you call a number from the Open URL too by using the tel:// protocol e.g

    tel://(enter number here)

Nope, GS doesn't give you access to that feature.

To be correct GS doesn't offer this option "anymore". Before they included the drop down menu in the behaviour we had the ability to input whatever protocol we wanted and in most cases it worked. Like the useful itms-apps:// the sadly we can't use anymore :(

Thanks for answering guys. Is there a specific reason why some of these protocols are no longer implemented in the open URL behavior ?

No one knows. I've been asking GS for ages to revert the behaviour as it was before but I never got an answer.
