720p game for iPhone?

Hi all,
I started my project at the maximum possible size to avoid loss of quality as I figured it'll easily downscale when exporting to iOS. But can GameSalad downscale when exporting? If I go to publish my current project I only get Mac & Android as targets. I don't want to have to actually resize the project itself because it has taken forever creating just 3 stages and I can't imagine resizing these levels since there are hundreds of actors in each of them.

Does setting GS to iPhone Landscape and a camera size of 1280x720 allow the project to be exported in its entirety to iPhone or is making a copy of the project and resizing the copy using GS Project Resizer then going through the entire resized project and manually fixing everything up the only option here?

    I can tell you right now that 1280x720 definitely does not match iPhone ratios.

    On the terms of a larger screen and camera size than 480x320 working, I've been seeing mixed answers. I read in some threads that having it at 960x640 will work fine, and read in others that it can't be done.

    Personally I sure hope 960x640 will work because I'm over 3 months into my project, almost done, and do not feel like walking to the closest bridge. lol

    Even if I could just change the camera size to 960x640, that wouldn't be all that bad either because as long as I centre the camera there wouldn't be much missing from view (I wouldn't be that fussed if 1280x720 just got stretch to fit either). As long as I don't have to change the project size itself... please let me know how your project turns out.

    Hey man, so I've published my game from gamesalad a couple times now to test with ad hoc. My game now has scenes with both the size of 960x640 and 480x320. I successfully was able to then instal it on my phone for testing (and thats not through the gs viewer).

    Seeing that I was able to achieve this, I can only think that it will be fine once sent in to apple. Will give you more info after I send it in.
