is there a better method to have 2 sticks in the same time?

hi, i try the template from the game salad menu but still get stucks some times plus adding more buttons too it don't work good, I'm trying to have a actor to move with a stick and the other one to shoot and some extras buttons for extra weapons but i i think is really hard as sometimes the actor don't know to what touch constraint the position.

    ok so say i have a tank, with a joystick i want to move the tank around and with another joystick to move the weapon around and fire, and i want to have extra buttons too likeA,B,C , iam using the template that is in the gs menu, but adding extra buttons the joysticks get stuck in one direction,
    this happens for example if i press button A then i move my tank around then i shoot then released jostick and so on.
