Hi all,
I've been a lurker on here for a while, picking off info here and there and I've finally built my first iOS game called Roll Dem Bones! I'm very excited and though I don't talk much on here, I wanted to share my game and a few promo codes as well. (make sure to post which promo codes you have taken for others.

Roll Dem Bones is an iOS game I've been working on for the iPhone and the iPad. Just in time for Halloween! You play as Demmy, a skull who is trying to collect all of the Bones that have been stolen from his Graveyard. You'll be able to play levels that require you to hit switches, go through pipes, ride curves and roll to try and collect them all! The game features 40 level at the moment but I am currently working on the next set.

1st impressions are great, loads of polish and i like the way the level starts and also the percent of bones you collect, looks like theres a lot of levels...well done!

The game is professionally polished and a lot of hard work has been put into it. This shows in the details, like the skull with the animated eyes that fall into the home page scene.
The storyline, Demmy collecting bones is interesting, and the hidden scroll around the page scenes reinforce the feeling of looking for lost bones. Excellent!
A few items in gameplay, could be improved, and seeing as you are planning on doing an update, you might want to consider these comments. We had difficulty figuring out how to toss the skull around. Not that it's so hard to do, it's just not obvious enough. Note that none of us read the how-to-play before playing. This is probably pretty common for casual game players. Maybe you could add a built in animation that shows how to play and get rid of that text.
Another element to improve is what happens after throwing the skull 3 times. The stars dancing around the Demmy's skull suggest some kind of success, rather than failure. Perhaps you could use "mini-whirlwind" images or the skull could crack and fall to pieces after 3 tries? Or, another idea could be to have a broken skull counter that appears after every throw? That would make the game more intuitive and you could remove some more of that text in the how-to-play.
Second, the score system, though interestingly unique, is IMO redundant. You give the score as a fraction and also convert it to a percentage. I would remove the percentage conversions, unless part of your goal is to make an educational app that teaches percentages.
Ok, so I not trying to discourage you, because I think over all your game is pretty darn nice and has the potential to go from being good to excellent.

The thing with controlling Demmy came up differently with everyone, so that is a key piece of feedback. I thought of doing the animation as well and I am now working on that for the next update.
Interesting take on the stars, I didn't see it like that and no one else has pointed that out. I'll try out a few of your suggestions and see what works!
The percentage count does seem redundant next to the total but that is going to be fleshed out with the next update as I have more plans for that finish screen.
All feedback is welcome because this is my first app and I consider it to be a learning experience.
