Hey guys, now that I have a few games out I figured it was about time I made a professional looking website for marketing instead of just the usual social media stuff. Check it out if you get a chance!

I think having a site adds a bit more credibility, and also a good place to post blogs and news about upcoming games, etc. I'm definitely not a web developer, so I just used wordpress. If anyone out there is more design-minded but not so technical (and I assume many GameSalad devs fall into this category) I highly recommend it. It was really easy, only took about 2 days to come up with a finished site.

Let me know what you think! And please feel free to check out my games while you're at it! They are all free to play on iOS. (^_^)

Hey I'm doing the same at the moment too with wordpress. Have you looked at any contact form plug-ins yet? It's fairly simple so people don't have to copy and paste your e-mail address, just a thought. It's looking good though :D

Nice, thanks for the tip! :) I haven't looked into that yet, I'm completely new to wordpress, but I'll check it out tonight. Great idea.

Can I just ask which plugin you used for this? There's a few that look pretty good, but I figured I'd see if you have any recommendations. :)

@Asobu_Games I use Contact Form 7, all you need to do is install it, change the settings in the plug-in options, copy and paste a line of code to the page you want the form. It looks pro B-) , but I haven't tried any others yet though so there maybe better plug-ins.

    :P

Would you say Wordpress is alot better than moonfruit?

@Adamgopro can't say I've ever used moonfruit, Wordpress is good though.

On a slightly unrelated note, I just posted my latest game-dev blog on my website. Some of you guys might find it interesting. Feedback and comments are more than welcome! (^_^) http://www.asobugames.net/blog/

Nice website, I like the layout and games page.

I think Joomla is the best and most flexible cms to work with. :bz

Thanks! :) Yeah I've heard Joomla is really good too. The only reason I went with WordPress is that I'd heard it's probably the most suited to people with no real prior web skills.
