Tshirthbooth gives an example how one can draw a path with and actor and record the coordinates in a table.

Is there a way to save a table recorded in this way so I can export it to csv ? When I look at the path or mater table they are empty even when I use 'save table'.

The "Save Table" function is client side only, it will have no effect on your GameSalad project. So in short, the answer is no, you cannot export a table that is made in the game. You can only export a table that is made in the editor.
Actually you can, but it would require building the game to a device, playing it, saving the table, jailbreaking the device, installing base directory software, navigating through the iphone and game system directories, extracting the file containing the table, then extracting the table from that file.
Not worth it.
