Not sure what your asking, but gamesalad is multi touch and you will have to test how many fingers can touch as I havent tried it myself

    Let me clarify @brendanzh926
I have a platform where two players tap at a box specifically allocated to each player. Since my laptop is not touch screen I can't test out the rule multi touch. Fr multitouch to take place must other player be touching the platform?

Forgive me if obvious, but I still don't know/understand what you are asking.
    Is the question you're asking:
"For multitouch to take place, must other player be touching the platform?"

And can't you test your game on viewer using i devices?

@Brendanzh926 sorry I have yet to buy the developer account. I ordered it today so I should receive it by tmr.
My game is to see who taps the circle most number of times. It takes place in the same screen split into half. Each side for each player. So do I need touch 1, touch 2 attributes to carry this function out? Or can I still use when touch is pressed change attribute blah blah for both sides? My worry is the score may not be added for either side when bith players tap the circle at the same time. Hope it clarifies for you.

Hello so I recently had a similar question, but just clear things up, do you have one or two circles and do they move between scenes?

If I know that I can offer a suggestion :)

If both players have their fingers on the screen at the same time and you need to know the x x&y position of the touches then you will need to use a touch 1 & two type system. Multitouch is very tricky as the touch count only relates to how many fingers are on the screen and not related to the touch is pressed part of a rule. I'm going to do a video in the coming weeks on basic 2 player multitouch. I've built a very complex extreme multitouch system I'm going to offer in marketplace very soon.

As i have recently find out many thanks to @FryingBaconStudios is that it is in deed complicated and from what I learnt about your game is that when a player that touches the screen gets a point. I don't think you will be able to recognize which player tapped the circle because it can't recognize and Identity fingers :) so just tapping with two people would properly show up as just a normal touch in my opinion and can't set score for each player.
Again I dont know too much about his area and just basing my answer on common logic.
    Hope it all works out

@FryingBaconStudios Will wait for the video.

People who cannot use 2 touch together should tryout Monopoly style game, where one players takes turns after the another. That makes it simple.

    Well thanks. @wickeddsunny
Thanks. i think i will use your method instead of complicating things up!

Also watch for the video next week. I am shooting to have it together midweek. I'm going to do a very detailed explanation of how multi touch works and how to build a two player system.

As long as the buttons have their own unique attributes to trigger i don't see why you cannot determined which player touch the button first. unless both are using the same set of touch buttons.
