Playing catch-up here, just updated to GS 0.8.4 and have just started to convert one of my apps to the new iPad format. So far working my way through the graphics at new sizes and repositioning in GS.

Any tips, or anything I need to be aware of?

Thanks

The biggest thing of course is redoing all the graphics at a larger size. Plus the aspect ratio is different. An iPhone has a wide screen display, whereas the iPad has a 4:3 aspect ratio like an older computer monitor.

Also, now the Camera is 1024x768 as opposed to 480x320, so if you have a scrolling scene this now becomes a design issue.

Generally, all the graphics should get bigger. However, if you have onscreen controls like virtual joysticks and buttons, those should stay pretty much the same size (the player's fingers are still the same size!) but they need to be positioned differently of course.

In EVERY scene, you need to select both autorotate orientations, such as Landscape Right and Landscape Left.

Other than those, it's pretty much the same process.

As always - Thank you firemaplegames.

Do I also create a fresh APP ID & PROVISIONING profiles?
