How many static actors can I have

in Working with GS (Mac)
Hi, would anyone know the rough amount of static actors (actors with no rules) I could have in 1 scene without any notable decrease in performance?

    honestly, I have no idea, but I think that you can have a whole lot if they are doing nothing.

    If they have no rules AT ALL, and they are "non movable" then you can have hundreds of them
