App store deep link not working from GS?

Hi..

interesting my deep link (from the web) works fine but gives an error from GS. any others deep linking right to the app store?

Does your link start with itms or http. For sites like GS http seems to work better

Are you talking about a link from within an app?

Yes from within GS....it should (and does) pop the App Store on the device but says it can not connect. It does work otherwise.

I did this on both my games. The first, I didn't link until the 3rd update and I was able to use the final itunes link (with the id# and the mt=8 part), so it works great. The second I did on the first version, so I didn't have the exact itunes link, so I used `http://www.itunes.com/apps/ticklestones` link and it works, but it opens the safari browser for a half second, then closes it and opens the app store app. A little clunky, but it gets there.
