Creating a maze with collision in GS - best practice?

Hi,

I made a maze in illustrator and want to recreate it in GS. Is there a quick way to do it? Now I import it as a drawing in GS and start building it from scratch with square collision objects. That alone takes time but I also have to change the width or height via the attribute editor because I can't give the collision squares the thickness I need by just dragging. So any tip is welcome. Thx.

    I'm not sure if I understand your question but if I made a maze I would make an actor called wall and uncheck moveable and visible. Then place the invisible walls over your image where you want collisions to occur. In your hero put the bounce on collide with wall.

    I think you said it. You know you need to build walls but it's too much work. If it's too much work why are you making games? There are no easy ways, game making requires work. I don't understand why you can't adjust the actors on scene, could you explain that? Is this a windows version thing?

    @FryingBaconStudios It's not a matter of too much work. I just want to avoid that I put days in doing this (I need more then 1 maze) and that in the end somebody tells me there's a much faster way :-) The way I do it now is the way Kyukon describes. And if that's the way then that's how I'll do it.
    Concerning the adjusting of the actors, you can change the size by grabbing the circles on an actor and drag them to the size you want to. But there's a "dragging" limit (24x24). So if you want your actor smaller, you have to edit the attributes of the actor.
    @bjandthekatz: Thx!

    my maze game used tiles so it's simple for collision. but using a drawing and puting in invisible walls is much more work. There's also another way which i have used before, creating the maze tiles using excel sheet cell value using tables.
