Black screen when i preview

in Working with GS (Mac)
Hi guys, every time i create an actor, and then check out how it looks in the preview, the whole preview screen (ipad screen) is black. I also tried switching the color of the background (scene) to a diferent colour, but at the preview its still a black empty preview screen. Help please

    Just hit the restart button in the to middle of the preview screen. The looped arrow.

    I tried, and nothing happened :( will reinstalling gamesalad do anything?

    Close and reopen the game, maybe shutdown mac and restart. Then restart the game. I got the problem once, had to restart from scratch, hopefully this will solve yours. Always make a backup copy.

    I havent really started making any games, downloaded game salad yesterday, and i cant make any progress. Today i made a sketch ( only blocks for actors ), and in preview again, the empty black screen. I closed the program, yes, restarted pc many times, but still nothing :(.

    Happens sometimes. Also depends on ur system config. Just restart from scratch.

    How do i restart from scratch? Open gamesalad and create a new project?

    Update: found out my actors are in preview, but no matter what colour i choose they are black, thus i cant see them (only working colours are white and aquamarine). Also i can only change scene colour to white and aqua, no other colours

    Hello @CptJ0ker any update? I'm having the same problem with preview.. I'm working on WIndows. Preview crashing quite often as well 3 times out of 5...

    It's unlikely to be the same problem from 2012. :) Make sure you're using version 13.34 of Creator released yesterday, and try to narrow down if it isn't working on just one project or all of them. I'd recommend just loading Big Top Blaster and seeing if that works in preview.
