Need Help with Character movement...
Using the W,A,S,D keys I can make my character move in all 4 different directions no problem.
My problem comes, in that I want my character to be able to shoot in whatever direction he is going in.
So for instance, if my character is facing left, or right, I want him to shoot in that direction, but currently he only shoots to the right.
I've gotten some success in changing his fire direction, by making him rotate quickly when the other keys are pressed, but then I end up having to press "D" to make him move forward, even though he's facing the opposite direction, which feels almost like I'm playing an old school Resident Evil game.
I need a character to be able to travel in all 4 directions, while shooting in the direction that he is facing and still be able to use the W,A,S,D, keys to move up, down, left and right.
I hope someone can help!
