Here's a video of a new gravity runner I'm working on. Just trying to hammer out a bunch of special effects and UI elements. Got a few more hazards to build in along with power ups.
Ha ha! Sorry! Not to fret, this won't be out for a while. I've got another project I'll be starting soon, this will go on hold, or at least become a slow mover. I shant be publishing a new game in the immediate future...I don't think. You should have time to catch up!
So here's a new video. I've built all the hazards. Now I need the power ups, the difficulty build up, the score keeper, and the UI. Oh yeah, and sound. The music playing is Caravan Palace - Rock it for me. I'm thinking this kind of sound for the game, no vocals though.
So I have a problem. I was playing this game again while bored and, though I've placed it on hold I intend to resume once my current project is near completion, I noticed that the game's Bg's all kinda skip. They are set to move in X 180 at different divisible gamespeed amounts for a parallax effect. The scene wraps both x and y. The frame rate is 54-56, however the little skipping makes is appear much slower. Any ideas what could be causing this?

I also added a shield and boost pick up. The boost drops too often right now but it works great.
I also added 1 finger to jump and 2 fingers to pause.

Little glitch at the end because I was manually adding boost and died before I input the last boost. Couldn't duplicate on device.
