These two videos are easily the best tutorial on GameSalad development that I have seen. They are extremely easy to follow and show the development process from beginning to end. The graphics are great, the little tricks like layering, camera movement, spawning and destroying, (as well ad many others) are nicely introduced and then used.
Honestly, the folks at GS ought to showcase these two videos for all new users. Thanks for making and sharing them!
ps -- Not sure why, you haven't done so yet, but you might want to give the link for the second video as well. (Just in case others don't see it.)
But honestly i watched the videos today and i have to say AMAZING work and done in only 2 videos and to top it all off you even provided the source files thats just amazing.but one thing i suggest doing is adding a rule so that players can't shoot the snowball or turn the gun before the camera pans to the building and back.
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you found them useful. I was afraid while in the middle of doing them it was getting a little convoluted and hard to follow, but I'm glad I was wrong I guess.
@Bilal15, I agree about the gun controls being turned off during the camera pan. There are really a lot of things that could/should be done to polish the game off. The idea of the tutorials is to give a good starting point to anyone who might want to develop a similar game, hence the source files.
I was offline yesterday due to Thanksgiving here in the U.S., the second post can be found here:
