quick q on adding to an integer variable

I'm new to gamesalad and loving it. The following doesnt seem to work for me, any suggestions?

if a variable called COUNT is already set to 100 and i have set the UP key as this

--> i set a rule, change attribute, set game.COUNT to +30

I dont get 130...? how do i add to a variable (integer)

do it like this. CH ATT game.count to game.count+30
