568x320? Simulator resolution problems

Hi, So I ran gamesalad simulator and the resolution is pretty messed up, only like 1/2 the game is shown. I'm not new to gamesalad but the resolution throws me off. Can't I just make my scenes(resize) 960x640 and publish for iphone 4 and up only?
I already sent my game up for review, I'm just afraid it may not end up like it does when I run it in gamesalad, unless there are bugs in the simulator.
I created a physics game too, so I'm not sure if gamesalad resizing it will affect the gameplay somehow causing it not to work.
So my question is, I don't care about anything below iphone 4, can I just change all my scenes to 960x640 and choose resolution independence, choose iphone landscape and am good to go?
Will I have to re-ad the images to my actors or can I just make the adjustments? Last time I used gamesalad it was different, and this resolution sh*t I don't favor at all with no explanation next to it.
Thanks for all the help.
ps. Do gamesalad games usually end up looking like they do in gamesalad itself? % wise, how often not?

I did copy the project and change everything to 960x640 including the graphics, that doesn't look good on the simulator either, cuts off the images on 3.5 inch retina sim.
Is the framerate on sim 30fps normal? Seems kinda sluggish, I think the simulator has issues.
