    Hey there,

You can easily email review sites and advertise your game by yourself without having to spend a dime. :)

    Hope this helps,

Just like Braydon said, while money helps, advertising your game doesn't depend on spending money. You can make a press release and email some review sites and see what happens. Before you email though, ask yourself if you were a reviewer with hundreds of emails just like that everyday, wether or not you would pick your app to write about. If yes, great! If not, then really go back and make sure your apps as good as it can be. Art, code, sound, it all matters. Because to be honest, the best form of marketing is to make a great game. If you do that, it will all work out :)

    Just as a heads up:

Be weary of any marketing services that contact you directly offering marketing/advertising packages promising exposure, sales etc. you can pull them up via research online to see how they stack up against larger, more reputable services out there.

Great games will speak for themselves, but great games do not promise sales and well deserved success (just ask Tim Schafer). In conjunction with great marketing, will make a great recipe for profits, however a great recipe is not a guarantee (ask him and Doublefine about this too).

    Hey

So I can't help you market your game but if you want I can give you a list of 300+ review sites ect to check out and see if you want to contact them. A few google searches will get you a lot as well. I don't know how many of them charge for review but if they like your game they may put it up or what ever they do.

And as @RP said, don't automatically agree to emails that offer you a great deal, it may be great to see something that cheap, but remember the saying, you get what you paid for.

So I personally would stay away from emails that are sent to you in case they are scams if your new to it all.

Other ways to market it are simple Facebook page, twitter, do some google searches for games blogs and announce your game there. So paying someone could be a waste of money unless your planning to make t shirts :)

You can only do so much but it really does come down to word of mouth to attract a larger audience. Just PM if you want the list and I will try organize them for you.

    Cheers
