Final Fantasy RPG Combat style help!

I am trying to implement a final fantasy combat style (turn based) for my first iOS 2D RPG game but am struggling.

    Seriously, though - if you haven't already, watch the video tutorials on learning GameSalad. There are a ton on YouTube and over at gshelper.com

    Braydon are there any true isometric or RPGs style games made with gs? I cannot find any video examples for those. Think FarmVille style for isometric. Just an idea for future videos.

    It's possible to make a true isometric game with GS - some time ago I was trying to make such game, and I managed to make a simple template.

    Trust me, I had a really hard time with layers already. Yup I understand layers better after the hardships. Will check out those templates.
