Question using custom fonts on png and v-sync

Im using a custom fonts for my menu system.
The problem is when i a preview on gamesalad or Xcode gsviewer, i have a problem with v-sync or something.
I do an image on inkscape with my word, with higher size, but when i put on the actor and resize it on the scene, then feel ugly.
I`m reading cookbook another time, i think i have missed something
